I am a member of the Psychological Interjursdicial Compact.  As a PSYPACT provider I provide telepsychology in the following states:  AL, AZ, AR, CO, CNMI, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, UT, VA, VT, WA, WV, and WI. I am licensed in Massachusetts, New York, and New Hampshire.  I am registered to provide telehealth in Florida.  I am credentialed with the National Health Service Providers in Psychology.  

I use a blend of therapies based on your presenting problem and what works for you.  I trained and have worked in various approaches from short-term, solution-focused therapies to longer-term, insight-oriented approaches.  These therapies include, but are not limited to CBT, ACT, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Psychodynamic, and Contemplative Psychotherapy.

I have practiced in diverse areas including anxiety, trauma, identity, life transitions, grief, work and relationship issues, as well as concerns specific to the LGBTIA+ communities. In addition, I have also been a professor of psychology for as long as I have practiced/  Currently I am a core faculty member in a PhD Psychology program. 

Contemplative Psychotherapy blends Buddhist philosophy and practice with Western psychological theory and psychotherapy practices.  Contemplative psychotherapy as practiced in the United States emerged in the 1970’s.  It has been primarily practiced as a therapeutic approach among psychotherapists who also practice Buddhism.

My fee ranges from $100 to $150 depending on what you can afford to pay.  I can provide you with a superbill and  help you to submit a claim for your out of network benefits if you have insurance.   Under the No Surprises Act you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate about what your service may cost.
